What you should eat during exam days
• In order to refresh your memory, there are a number of foods you should eat such as: • A teaspoonful of a whole grain and yeast soluble in a cup of water morning and evening as they contain vitamin B necessary for the brain and it is advised to have foods rich in phosphors such as fish, shrimps and other sea foods. Having dairy products as they are rich in calcium necessary for a healthy nervous system. • During study times It is advised that students should eat fresh fruits and vegetables such as lettuce and carrots as they contain vitamins good for the brain along with sugary foods such as honey also needed for the function of the brain and not only those stored in the body provided that the student stays away from oriental sweets as they contain a high rate of fats. • As for drinks: It is permissible to have a cup or two of coffee or tea during daytime. As for anise it shouldn't be taken before studying as it causes relaxation therefore it is advised to be taken before sleep time contrary to coffee or tea. • As for medications: Medicines that are said to strengthen memory during exams are already available in the body and exerted in suitable concentrations therefore when a student takes such medications the body exerts more but the memory has a certain ability to work and if forced to work at a higher rate this would go on for a short while but will give opposite results forcing a student to overwork and eventually fall with tiredness. Such medicines are for pathological cases and by a doctors prescription only, and not to be taken randomly.
